We had a hugely enjoyable time taking ‘A Dash Through Dickens’ to the Brighton Fringe Festival last week. The Warren theatre is a beautiful venue and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Our audiences were fantastic and feedback for the production has been overwhelmingly positive. As the reviews start to come in we will be sure to post them here and on our facebook page. Already looking forward to Brighton 2015! Tour dates for the rest of this year and Spring 2015 will be posted here soon.
Thanks to the overwhelming support we have received over the past couple of months, our crowdfunding campaign has been a huge success. We even managed to exceed our original target which is fantastic!
If you were one of the very generous people who made a pledge, thank you so much. You will receive your pledge reward in due course! We hope that as many of you as possible will come and watch the show and we look forward to seeing you!
Lee and Hazel took the plunge today…plunging into Ayr Sea that is. As promised they dashed along Ayr Beach in full Dickensian swimwear and then went for a swim in, what turned out to be, a very cold sea. This is to raise awareness of our crowdfunding campaign to help to get us to Brighton Fringe where we will be performing our brand new show ‘A Dash Through Dickens’. If you have been thinking about helping then now is the time to do so. Please follow the ‘support us’ link above and pledge as little as a fiver (or more if you can afford it). We really do appreciate all of your help. And have a laugh at some of the pictures of the event too. Enjoy.
Hey everyone. Our crowdfunding campaign is going brilliantly and we would like to thank everybody, once again, who has been kind enough to pledge so far. We really are so grateful. And to show our gratitude, and to promote the campaign further, Lee and Hazel will be donning full Victorian swimwear and dashing along Ayr seafront, before taking a dip in the rather chilly sea. This is guaranteed to be a giggle for anyone who can come along and show support and is definitely worth digging deep for and donating whatever you can. Every little helps and we really do appreciate all of your help. More details of the event can be found on our facebook page – www.facebook.com/adashthroughdickens
Our crowd funding project has got off to a fantastic start!
Special thanks to Mary MacGregor, Bill and Barbra O’Driscoll, Natalie Dobrenko, Pat Kerr and Craig McLaughlin for helping us to get a 1/4 of the way to our target it record quick time!
We are very grateful to you all!
